Hunter River

The Hunter River is yet another scenic area that some argue is the most spectacular river system of the Kimberley coast. This 30km long river is said to have the highest proportion of saltwater crocodiles of any other river in the Kimberley.

You will enjoy cruising the aqua waters and taking in the scenic headlands, cliffs and draining streams from the small mangrove creeks which form spectacular patterns as the water recedes on low tide.

We usually do a walk up Jackson Falls and swim in the fresh waterhole at the top. Bird life is plentiful and the fishing is incredible.
